65 players started on a great day for golf. The course was in excellent condition, but perhaps that is all that was good.
I think most of us had trouble playing our best today. No great scores were recorded, but most did OK, while the others perhaps are just not talking to me at the moment?
Golf Australia (GA) was not my friend today. Today I saw “errors” on the GA site that I had never seen before, and we did nothing different than in previous events. I can only apologies to those seriously affected; Jan Brown. For some unknown reason Jan’s name does not appear in the Overall results sheets below, even though a valid scorecard is in the system.
Even though I set up the event just like any other day, this week the system “seems” to be selecting players Grades (Divisions) based on their GA Handicap and their Daily Handicap, so when you review the results sheet below you will see some people in Grade 1 (based on DH) and 2 (based on GA HCP), or Grade 2 (based on DH) and 3 (based on GA HCP). Hence the confusion on my part in trying to work out the winners. See the Registration Report link below to see the “error”.
