Update – Gatton 15th June
Hi Guys, FYI
The kitchen at the Gatton Golf Club will NOT be open for our next game on the 15th of June. So no hot lunches.
The club will have fresh sandwiches available and their regular clubhouse snacks. They have also advised that only 28 Buggies are available for hire. Personally think that will be enough, but please book early to avoid disappointment.
Also remember that the start sheet is at the Rosewood GC. Please put, or ring the GC, to get your name on the start sheet ASAP. Currently we have 40 registered starters.
So, I am hoping for a great turn out for this game. I am sure the $100 Members Draw Jackpot might also be an incentive. See you all there. Cheers
Changes to the QVGA State-Carnival
Please be aware that the dates for the QVGA State Carnival have changed. Refer to Flyer below or visit the QVGA Website.

Queensland Veterans Golfers Name and POC Changes
The Queensland Veterans Golfers (formally Union) are now officially called Queensland Veteran Golf Association Inc. The name change has been recognised by the Office of Fair Trading and the Taxation Department. This now brings us into line with the other States and the A.V.G.A. All are now ‘Associations’.
As a result, QVGA now have a new email and website address.
Email:- admin@qvga.org.au
Website:- www.qvga.org.au
The old addresses will redirect to the new ones for a while before the old ones will be obsolete.
The IDVGA Website has been updated to reflect this change, with all Queensland Veterans Golfers references and links on our website now directing you to the new QVGA Website.
Changes to 2026 Playing Programme
Due to circumstance beyond our control, we had to cancel our scheduled event at Toogoolawah GC. Consequently, the IDVGA committee met and agreed to schedule a replacement game for Toogoolawah.
Thanks to Rosewood GC (Ken Parker) for agreeing to cancel our schedule event at the Rosewood GC on the Monday Sept 28th so that we could play a replacement game for Toogoolawah. We are very much appreciative to the Rosewood GC for supporting this change.
Unfortunately, Toogoolawah GC was unable accommodate their replacement game being on Monday Sept 28th.
After speaking with Lowood GC (Alan Jones) and subsequently with Toogoolawah GC (Alan White), Lowood GC will now host our event on Monday Sept 28th (was Oct 26th) and the Toogoolawah GC replacement game will now be schedule for Monday Oct 26th.
Please go to the 2026 Programme on this website or click on the link below to go directly to see the updated playing Programme.
