55 players started on a coolish first day of winter. At least the temperature was in double figures by the time we teed off, but the dew on the fairways and Greens made some of the long Par 4’s a challenge early on, but overall, it was a pleasant day for golf even with the wind starting to get up later in the morning.
The Esk course was in great condition, and as always, the ladies in the kitchen again provided a great warm meal and desert for lunch. Not forgetting the fabulous scones provide before we even teed off. Well done and thank you to everyone involved.
