This game was abandoned following the Club’s decision to close the Course on the morning of the game after a full inspection. Close to 80 mm of rain fell overnight and rendered sections unable to sustain traffic. Unfortunately, that message was not received until after 7.40 am. A frantic effort was made by phone and internet to contact players when the Club’s decision was passed on, but most had already left home. Notification on the Web was delayed because the computer was packed in the car ready to depart. As well, there were some incorrect phone numbers recorded, and Landline numbers were inadequate if you had left home or if you didn’t have a mobile with you on which family could contact you. We will make a concerted effort now to correct the information on file, and where players with Mobiles who haven’t yet advised of the new number, we will ask you to change to avoid a repeat of this in the future.

The next game is at Laidley Golf Club on Monday 4th April, and we have been advised that it is in very good condition. The Timesheet is now available at Rosewood Golf Club.
