NOT another beautiful day.  Very wet with consistent, and at times heavy, rain greeted the group right on tee time.   Yes, it did start to clear up after 6/7 holes, but those of us near the club house when the rain got really heavy decided to call it quits.  Last week I hoped that up the range for this game would be a bit cooler.  Guess, next time I need to be a bit more specific when praying to the weather gods!

Today’s field had a total of 63 players, (59 men and 4 ladies).

Congratulations to all players who stuck it out till the end (46 men and 2 ladies).   Speaking for myself (and I assume most of the other players who decided to finish early), we do not like golf that much, when we are soaking wet and cold.  I think our Captain call me (us) soft and/or sooks, but pretty sure I heard smart and / or soaked.   Right Bob!
