A nice morning drive to Esk, followed by a pleasant day that got warm, but not overly hot. A slightly smaller field than last week for today’s game with 60 players, (52 men and 8 ladies) which allowed a much smoother shotgun start on the 9-hole course. The new 3 Division’s was a little light on for Division 1 (only 8 players, after last week’s 20 players, although Division 2 (24 players, last week 30 players) and Division 3 (20 players, last week 19 players) was more evenly balanced.
The committee will continue to monitor the spread of players across the divisions, and if necessary, adjust accordingly. Perhaps some Division 2 players could PLAY BETTER! 😊🤷♂️
The Course was in very good shape with the Greens and fairways in excellent condition, although on a personal note; I would have liked less challenging Pin locations. Congratulations to all winners.

Photos: Sorry; only 2 photos today. If other members could take, or have photos, for me to post that would be much appreciated.
1. It was only a “short” putt Des. There seemed to be a lot of reasons for the miss, but I think the photographer got a big mouth full. Harsh!
2. The President announced today that our Captain – Bob Carter would be stepping down from the position at the end of the year. However, Bob focus seem to be more on “keeping up with the group in front”, than stopping for a photo. John was more accommodating. Thanks John.
