Well, that was “FUN” entering scores into the new computer system today wasn’t it!   I am sure there are lessons to be learnt; but that was a little cumbersome entering the scores today.  Sorry to all those who waited and all those that had to leave.   Hopefully next year when most of us can use our “smart” phones to load our scores directly into the system, we can get the upload process a little more streamlined.

Anyway, the golfing experience!  Great day, but the +90% humidity was ‘most uncomfortable’!   At least the recent rain allowed some aggressive shots into the nice soft Green’s.  Kudos to staff at Ipswich GC, as I thought the Green’s and Fairways were in excellent condition.

The field today was 57 (45 men, 12 Ladies), though 3 men had to withdraw from the final results due to illness(s) in the group.  The men’s divisions fields was again a little lopsided due the course slope rating: Div 1 = 6, Div 2 = 21 and Div 3 = 15.  Perhaps that is something for the club captain to thinks about for next year.
