No weather problems today with the Temperature just reaching the 30’s.
Almost identical numbers to those of the last game at Laidley, 64, (50 Men and 14 Ladies). The field moved well and resulted in good finishing time. Captain Bob had his management skills tested with his usual offsiders all indisposed or unavailable. All went well though.
The Course is coping well with the weather patterns and with some good drying weather will benefit from the best growing conditions. The Greens had not yet recovered from the recent maintenance but will be tops for 2023.
The men recorded the top scores with Ray McLeod and Ted Goodbun leading the way with 39 and 37 points. Dorothy Pearson was just behind though and won the Ladies Trophy. Allan Alloway was thrilled with his winning Pin Shot on the tricky 5th hole.

The next game is at Ipswich City on Monday 14th November. It is an 8.30am Shotgun start. The Timesheet is at Rosewood Golf Club
