If was especially glad to see Ossie and Lyn Baker return for the presentation. It was obvious that Ossie was very proud that the Championship trophy has now been rename to the: – Ossie Baker Perpetual Trophy.
Updated: Please note that there are 2 Winners in the Men’s Over 80 – 36 Hole Nett category. Unfortunately, in the rush and panic to confirm the results on the day, Lyle Robson score and Over 80 category was missed. As I said this was unfortunate, and our apologies go out to Lyle for this mistake. So, congratulations to Lyle as the Men’s Over 80 Winner – 36 Hole Nett.
As a consequence, the Captain and I have agreed that Ted Goodbun: Men’s Over 80 Winner – 36 Hole Nett, as announce on the day, and as indicated below in the Image Gallery comments, will still stand and we will have DUAL Winners in the Men’s Over 80 – 36 Hole Nett category.
Updated 2: On review Wayne Gordon has been declared the Div 2 – 36 Hole Nett Winner. Ramon Brailey has been relegated to Day 2 Div 2 – Nett Winner, with Paul Setch pushed down to Day 2 Div 2 – Nett Runner-up. As a result of Wayne moving up to Div 2 – 36 Hole Nett Winner, Murray Panzram becomes the Day 2 Div 2 – Nett Runner Up. I hope this makes sense.
