A perfect day for golf and the whole 40 of our allocated players turned up and played in groups of four of IDVGA members. The hosts had their full quota of 32 players so the field was a maximum with two groups off each Tee. The Course was in excellent shape and the Greens could not be faulted with a perfect roll and not too fast.

Lunch was a variety of options from sandwiches to full meals and no one was disappointed.

It is hoped that next year the IDVGA will be able to secure a competition day at Boonah for our players only so that all members can have the opportunity to play at this excellent country Course.

Maurie Clem and Terry Haslam had 50 points, by far the best score of the day, and took home the Shield for the second time.

The next game is at Sandy Gallop on Monday 17th August. It is the first Round of the 2015 Championships and is an 8.30am Shotgun start. The Timesheet is at Rosewood Golf Club.
