It was a fine and cloudy day with the sun well hidden until later in the day when the warmer apparel could be discarded.
The field was almost identical to the May game with another surprisingly low number of players, 49, (40 Men and 9 Ladies). Hopeully players will spread the word as to the fine condition the Course is in so that our next game can give more support to the Club.
The Course was well prepared with an increasing amount of grass cover and good fairway lies. The Greens gave true rolls and were easily handled when the correct line was chosen.
The boiling urn was well received on our arrival and the well chosen three choice winter menu met all needs.
Three clear-cut winners today with Esk’s Denis Misso the one to break 40 points. Monty Christie and Pam Lane won the other two Divisions with 37.

4. New member, Geoff Woodrow’s facial expression says it all about his missed putt.

The next game is at Sandy Gallop on Monday 15th August. It is an 8.30am Shotgun start. The Timesheet is at Rosewood Golf Club.
