We had a fantastic turn out given the threat of inclement weather. Of the 84 registered to play, 71 players started and took on the course and weather. At times a passing shower or two cause some inconvenience, depending on whose shot it was at that time, but overall, it was a pleasant day for golf, even getting a bit warm on occasions.
A good day was had by all with some good scores returned, but overall high scores were few and far between. I notice that when the scores were uploaded to Golf Australia that the daily difficulty rating of +1 was added to all scores showing that playing conditions were tough at times. The Greens were in excellent condition, although with the added moisture around some of the Greens and the wet fairways from the rain made some holes challenging. Home course advantage was reflected in some of the results. Thank you to all Rosewood G.C. staff for your great work. Food must have been excellent, as they were sold out quickly.
