Well, that was “FUN” entering scores into the new computer system today wasn’t it! I am sure there are lessons to be learnt; but that was a little cumbersome entering the scores today. Sorry to all those who waited and all those that had to line up and/or leave.
Hopefully next week when most of us can use our “smart” phones to load our scores directly into the system, we can get the upload process a little more streamlined.
I will provide an update on the Notice page later on what next week registration will look like, but at the very least I am going to eliminate the need to line up to give / input your scores. The lineup process I am sure was VERY frustrating.
Also, I think the pre-game registration will be easier. We had 101 players registered yesterday who had to complete forms and get membership cards etc. That process is always a challenged every year on the first day.
I did note of the 101 players registered, 99 started and 98 finished. NB: 2 did not arrive, and unfortunately 1 was not able to complete his game, with his fee refunded.
That is A RECORD NUMBER for the association to have that many players for 1 game. Congratulations to everyone for this achievement, including the 9 new first-time members.

Monday’s lucky Member Draw was number – 64. Congratulations to Garry Hullett who was present to collect his prize.
PPS: Finally, website updated with NTP and Ball Rundown and prize winners. I have increased the ball run down to 31points. Only having 12 ball run winners seemed a bit stingy. All remaining cash and ball rundown prizes not already payout, will be available at our next game.
