A fine day with everyone looking forward to a great day’s golf. And so, it was until about the last three holes when it got very hot.
With a large number of player’s committed to a mixed foursomes competition run by the Darling Downs Lady Vets at Middle Ridge, the field of 40 was a very good result for the Club.
The Course was well prepared and is benefitting from the work which is being put in to improving it.
The cold salad and sweets lunch was provided by ladies who must be the most accomplished volunteers in the District.
Carolyn Pfeiffer’s score of 41 points was the only one in the 40’s with Ken Marschke’s 38 points taking out the other trophy of the day.
Photos. None today.
The next game will be at Ipswich City on Monday 9th November. It will be an 8.30am Shotgun Start.
