The photo above clearly illustrates why no golf was played at Rosewood today.

The Timesheet showed a field of 102 (83 Men and 19 Ladies), and 44 of these set out from home hoping for a game. Forty-two arrived at the Course, 40 entered the Clubhouse and 2 turned back enroute.

What there was to see of the Course showed it to be in great condition.

Mary and Col had everything ready for us but all to no avail. We appreciate the effort of the staff at Rosewood to ensure Vets have a good day’s golfing.

No trophies of course but the meat vouchers will now be used on Opening Day. There were even a couple for the Lucky numbers. Compliments of the season to members and their families and stay safe if you are travelling over the break.

The next game is at Rosewood on 31st January next year. The Timesheet will be at Rosewood from Saturday15th. The Annual General Meeting will be held after Presentations and nominations for any of the Committee positions should be conveyed to the President or Captain by Friday 14th.
